Deebo Samuel Stats

At 23 years old, Deebo Samuel is one of the older prospects in the 2019 NFL Draft after spending five years with the South Carolina Gamecocks. After redshirting and a limited freshman campaign, Samuel broke onto the scene as a sophomore with 59 catches and 783 receiving yards. He also had one receiving touchdown and six rushing TDs in 2016.

Samuel got off to an incredible start to his junior season with 15 catches, 250 receiving yards, three receiving TDs, two kickoff-return TDs and one rushing touchdown in less than three full games. However, he would suffer a season-ending fibula injury in the third quarter of South Carolina's 2017 Week 3 matchup against Kentucky. Samuel bounced back from this injury with a career-high 62 receptions, 882 receiving yards and 11 receiving TDs through 12 games during his senior season.

Deebo Samuel Draft Predictions

- Indianapolis Colts (No. 42, No. 59), Philadelphia Eagles (No. 56)

Andrew Luck finally looks like he's fully healthy again and the Indianapolis Colts appear to be on the right track heading into the 2019 season. Devin Funchess' one-year, $10 million deal with the Colts looks like a short-term patch at the WR position, and Samuel's skillset could make him a great fit to pair with T.Y. Hilton.

With the Philadelphia Eagles adding DeSean Jackson after parting ways with Golden Tate this offseason, Philly could certainly be in the market for some youth at the wide receiver position. Their late second-round pick could be a good spot for Samuel to go in the 2019 NFL Draft.
