The Jacksonville Jaguars' passing game has no where to go but up this season, especially now that Nick Foles will be taking over at starting quarterback for the departed Blake Bortles.

If Foles can be competent or even better than that this season, there should be at least one wide receiver who benefits from the improved QB play. The player most people are pegging for a breakout season is third-year WR Dede Westbrook. The former Biletnikoff winner out of Oklahoma, Westbrook caught 66 balls for 717 yards and five TD last season.

While Westbrook is getting all the hype, and will cost you a top 100 fantasy pick as WR39 according to average draft position (ADP), second-year Jags WR D.J. Chark is practically free in drafts and starting to build a strong case of his own.

Chark, a second-round pick last year out of LSU, had some early camp buzz as a rookie, but ultimately was a non-factor in the regular season, catching 14 passes for 174 yards. At 6'4", 198 pounds, he possesses the size that the smaller Westbrook (6'0") does not bring to the table. Chark offers tantalizing upside, which we could see as early as this season if Foles can build some chemistry with the sophomore wideout.

Beyond Westbrook and Chark in the Jaguars pass-catching corps, there aren't many inspiring options. The once-hyped Keelan Cole fizzled out last season, while Marquise Lee has failed to stay healthy in his career, having missed all of 2018 with a torn ACL. The team added former Chief Chris Conley, who received some early camp buzz, but has mostly been a part-time player in his career.

Chark is currently the WR87 according to ADP, or pick 264 overall. That means he will go undrafted in many leagues, and could be a waiver wire target early in the season. For the forward-thinking drafter, however, who isn't quite sold on Wesbtrook being the team's unquestioned top option, Chark makes for an intriguing late-round option in deeper leagues.
