It's no secret that Christian McCaffrey is one of the most productive players in fantasy football — especially for PPR leagues.

He finished 10th among RBs in fantasy scoring despite notching only 117 carries as a rookie in 2017, and in 2018 that ranking climbed to second.

In recent games, his scoring has been especially impressive.

The Carolina Panthers are obsessed with getting him involved in their offense. Despite that limited workload in Week 17 of 2018, he played 91.3 percent of the team's offensive snaps in 2018. No other RB played more than 83.0 percent (Saquon Barkley).

The trend held up in Week 1 of the 2019 season — he was on the field for every single offensive snap and led all running backs in fantasy production.

Thursday Night Football Christian McCaffrey Fantasy Outlook

Don't let the short week worry you — McCaffrey played 94.7 percent of the Panthers' snaps on Thursday Night Football in Week 10 last season, turning in his second highest fantasy score of 2018 with 36.8 PPR points.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have one of the worst defenses in the NFL, giving McCaffrey a real shot of making it back-to-back weeks as the top-scoring RB in fantasy football to open the 2019 season.
