The Kansas City Chiefs won a thrilling Divisional Round shootout over the Buffalo Bills this past weekend, earning them an AFC Championship Game date with the Cincinnati Bengals.

Kansas City has played in the last two Super Bowls and now has an opportunity to do it for a third consecutive year. The good news for Chiefs fans is that oddsmakers not only think that another appearance is likely, but so is the team's second championship in three years.

Chiefs Super Bowl Odds

Even though they need to get past the Bengals, the Chiefs are the current Super Bowl 56 favorites at +125 odds, according to FanDuel Sportsbook.

Kansas City's Super Bowl aspirations were up in the air after a 2-3 start to the season, however, a 12-2 record over the last 14 games has turned things around. A big part of that turnaround has been the Chiefs defense, which ranks first when it comes to scoring defense (including playoffs) over that stretch.

The Chiefs can beat any team as long as Patrick Mahomes is on a roll, which is exactly what he's doing now. The Super Bowl MVP candidate has completed 75.9% of his passes this postseason for 782 passing yards and eight touchdowns to one interception, also rushing the ball 10 times for 98 rushing yards and another TD.

Before they think of another Super Bowl victory, the Chiefs must exact revenge on a Bengals team that beat them, 34-31, in Week 17. Both teams' offenses can explode at any given time, making it likely that we could have another shootout on our hands with a trip to California on the line.

Considering how Kansas City is the 7-point home favorite ahead of the AFC Championship matchup, another Super Bowl appearance is a legitimate possibility.
