Charles Woodson Makes Frightening Prediction on Aaron Rodgers' Future

Aaron Rodgers' unstable relationship with the Green Bay Packers has been on full display this offseason. He's been less than cheery ever since the team traded up to select his possible successor, Jordan Love, in the first round of the 2020 NFL Draft. He responded with an MVP-winning season, but his long-term future remains up in the air.

Packers legend Charles Woodson doesn't have an optimistic view regarding the marriage between Rodgers and Green Bay.

Woodson believes the situation could turn "nasty" given the circumstances. With both sides pushing back against each other, things could get out of hand and lead them toward a path of no return.

"I think it could be one of those situations where it gets nasty at some point, somehow in the back and forth between the Packers and Aaron’s agents and then before you know it somehow the thing gets blown up. I mean, I certainly hope that doesn’t happen, but you know where there’s smoke there’s fire.”

These are sobering words for Packers fans to hear. It reinforces the reality that Rodgers' Packers career could be winding down unless the QB gets the clarity he wants regarding his future.

Green Bay has some hard decisions to make in the near future that will change the course of their franchise, one way or another. The possibility of Rodgers leaving is certainly real.
