Over Bettors Cash in on CeeDee Lamb's Draft Position Following Slide to Cowboys at No. 17

When the 2020 NFL Draft kicked off on Thursday night, CeeDee Lamb was a heavy favorite to be the first wide receiver selected, according to odds from FanDuel Sportsbook.
Contrary to that movement in the odds, Henry Ruggs III ended up being the first wide receiver taken, and then Ruggs' college teammate Jerry Jeudy went No. 15 to the Denver Broncos.
Lamb ended up going off the board at No. 17, to the Dallas Cowboys.

Not only was Lamb the favorite to be the WR1, but his draft position over/under had been set at 12.5. The under was a heavy -260 favorite on that line, with the over getting underdog odds of +205.
This means that bettors who faded the last-minute surge in hype on Lamb got handsomely rewarded. Cowboys fans are hoping that the pick will translate into just as much of a reward for the Dallas offense.
