Cameron Brate Injury Update Creates Fantasy Value in Week 9 Matchup with Seahawks

With O.J. Howard already ruled out on Friday after failing to practice all week, Cameron Brate is once again in line to serve as the Tampa Bay Buccaneers' top tight end now that he has been officially declared as active for a Week 9 matchup with the Seattle Seahawks.

Brate was questionable himself with a rib injury coming into this game, but after being upgraded to a full participant in Friday's practice it's no surprise to see him suiting up against Seattle.
With Howard on the shelf in Week 8, Brate played a season-high 67 percent of the Bucs' offense snaps, also seeing a season-high six targets.
The Seahawks have been nothing special against the pass this year, coming into Week 9 ranked 19th in Football Outsiders' pass defense DVOA rankings, making this a solid spot for Brate to continue seeing his expanded workload.
