The Buffalo Bills will look to maintain their slim lead in the AFC East with a win in Week 17 against the Atlanta Falcons. It turns out that the weather could play a big role in shaping Sunday's contest, though.

The Weather Channel currently forecasts snow in the morning of Jan. 2, followed by snow showers in the afternoon. The high on Sunday is just 31 degrees, so these teams will have to battle it out in freezing conditions.

To make matters worse, the winds are projected to range from 10-20 mph. That factor alone may impact each team's kicking game, and it could potentially make things difficult for both Josh Allen and Matt Ryan through the air.

The dome-homed Falcons may struggle in these difficult conditions, but the Bills are no strangers to winter weather. Buffalo already played in a snowstorm earlier this year, so they should be able to handle Sunday's relatively mild weather.

The Bills enter Sunday's game as massive 14.5-point favorites over Atlanta, according to FanDuel Sportsbook.
