There is apparently some trouble brewing in the City of Brotherly Love. The Philadelphia Phillies' biggest offseason signing, Bryce Harper, was ejected from Monday night's 5-1 loss to the New York Mets.
The Phillies slugger left the dugout and rushed onto the field to argue a questionable call. He was ejected in the fourth inning for his antics. Harper's behavior was clearly out of line, as he was angrily pointing and yelling at the umpire. He even had to be held back by his teammates and manager on multiple occasions.

Simply put, Harper didn't need to storm the field or show up the umpire and he should suspended for his actions. Harper's actions also clearly didn't sit well with his teammate, Jake Arrieta, who was the starting pitcher in last night's game. He said Harper shouldn't have done what he did.
At the time, the Phillies were trailing 2-1, and the team couldn't muster another run for the rest of the night. It's tough to say things would've been different had Harper remained in the game, but he already has five home runs and 14 RBI this season, so he could've potentially provided a boost.

Harper's outburst and Arrieta's comments were likely a product of frustration that came from losing an important game to a division rival. The game dropped the Phillies to 12-10, which ties them with the Mets atop the NL East.
Even so, Harper is one of the highest-paid players in baseball. The slugger needs to do a better job keeping his emotions in check, especially when he wasn't even on the field at the time of the call.
Given that Harper is one of the most recognizeable faces in the sport, he could be facing a suspension for his actions in last night's game.
