The Denver Broncos have some very important decisions to make in the 2020 NFL Draft. With the team in flux after a difficult 7-9 season, GM John Elway will be looking to make serious upgrades.

After gaining compensatory picks, Denver has 12 draft selections to work with this year, including three picks in the third round and two in the fourth round. With this draft capital, the Broncos could make a trade up to the second round and steal high-quality talent that's still available in what projected to be a deep draft class.

Here are three players they could trade up to get in the second round.

1. Shane Lemieux, G, Oregon

The Broncos are in need of a guard after starter Ronald Leary was let go. In fact, the whole offensive line could use work, as the Broncos struggled in pass protection and failed to deliver much offensive success in 2019. Shane Lemieux could be a great option here. A four-year starter at Oregon, Lemieux has the potential to make an impact immediately and provide helpful competition at right or left guard.

2. Noah Igbinoghene, CB, Auburn

Noah Igbinoghene is a fast, physical cornerback who dominated in Auburn's secondary for two years after being converted from wide receiver to cornerback. Igbinoghene had 18 pass breakups during his 22 starts at Auburn and impressed with his ability to cover almost anyone. He also can provide instant help as a returner on special teams. With the Broncos needing a cornerback and Igbinoghene projected as a late first-round or early second-round pick, Denver could be a good destination.

3. Laviska Shenault, WR, Colorado

The Broncos don't have to look outside Colorado for a potential wide receiver in the second round. Laviska Shenault was one of the best receivers in the country during his sophomore year with the Colorado Buffaloes. He has a unique ability to make difficult catches and power his way to first downs, but injury risk has dropped his stock significantly. With the Broncos badly in need of a wide receiver to pair alongside Courtland Sutton, the Broncos could make a move for Shenault at the top of the second round.
