Odell Beckham Jr. kicks off his free agency tour on Thursday with a visit to the New York Giants. Then he heads to Buffalo to meet with the Bills this weekend before ending his tour in Dallas on Monday.
Bills Odell Beckham Jr. News
Buffalo has long been considered a serious suitor for Beckham, which was confirmed on Thursday when the team took a significant step toward landing the talented wideout. The Bills converted just short of $3 million worth of Tre'Davious White's base salary into a signing bonus, which creates a little more than $2.2 million in cap space for this season.
While this isn't a huge number in itself, it shows that they're doing what they can to free up money in anticipation of signing Beckham. This might not be the last move Buffalo makes like this, and we could see other suitors attempt to do the same.
The Green Bay Packers lost out on Beckham last year because they got outbid by the Los Angeles Rams, who ended up winning the Super Bowl with Beckham. It's clear Buffalo wants to try to prevent that from happening as much as possible.
While we don't know when Beckham will decide or where he'll end up, it's fair to expect a decision from him early next week after he's met with all three teams.
Even without Beckham, the Bills are still loaded and have the second-best Super Bowl odds (+450) on FanDuel Sportsbook's NFL odds.
