The Chicago Bulls have found a lot of success by centering their defense around big man Nikola Vucevic. The two-time All-Star comes into this game with a great matchup on the boards. Brooklyn is allowing the highest defensive rebounding percentage in the NBA (83.4%) and has no one on the roster that can matchup with Vucevic on the glass. The Bulls starter has only hit this mark once in his last four games, but he is averaging 10.8 rebounds per game while paying in a career-high 34.4 minutes. This is the perfect time to back Vucevic and trust him to cash the over on this prop.

2. Zach LaVine - Points: Over 25.5 (-112)

Playmaker Zach LaVine leads this Chicago offense and has been lights out over the last week or so. LaVine has scored at least 25 points in each of his last five games and is getting to the line by averaging over seven free throw attempts per contest during that span. The eighth-year pro makes a living out of shooting mid-range jumpers and his 30.6 usage rate top all Bulls players this season. Look for LaVine to continue his dominance and pick apart a Brooklyn defense that ranks in the middle of the pack when it comes to points allowed per game.

3. 1st Quarter Winner: Chicago Bulls (-110)

This is projected to be a close game up until the final whistle, which makes looking at the first quarter enticing. The Bulls are 3-2 against the spread in the first quarter of home games this season. Meanwhile, the Nets come into town with a record of 2-2 ATS in the first quarter of away games and have yet to show a true ability to pull away early on. The Bulls have lost each of their last two games and will be hungry for a victory in front of their home crowd at the United Center. Expect them to come out ready to play and catch the Nets a bit off guard.
