Best NFL Survivor Pool Picks for Week 8

Favorites have been coming up big over the last few weeks (and all season, really), meaning that there haven't been too many people eliminated from NFL survivor pools lately.

Lasting this long is great, but it also means things are starting to get very tricky for people who have already used up their picks on some of the NFL's powerhouses.

The Duel is here to help in Week 8 with our top three survivor pool picks.

3. Los Angeles Rams (at HOU)

Here's the obvious one. Even on the road, the Rams are FanDuel Sportsbook's biggest favorite in Week 8 at -14.5. The 6-1 Los Angeles Rams are a clear Super Bowl favorite, and the Houston Texans may well be the worst team in the NFL. A ton of you probably took the Rams last week in a similarly juicy spot against the Detroit Lions, but if you still have the option they're as close to a lock as you'll get this week.

2. Buffalo Bills (vs MIA)

Stop me if you've heard this one before. We've got a Super Bowl contender favored by roughly two touchdowns (-13.5) against one of the worst teams in the NFL, with the only real drawback being that you may have picked them already. Everything that puts the Rams in play here holds true for the Buffalo Bills. If you somehow have both teams still available, you may be better off picking the Rams, however. Buffalo gets a couple similarly juicy matchups in the next two weeks with the Jacksonville Jaguars in Week 9 and New York Jets in Week 10.

1. Cincinnati Bengals (at NYJ)

Speaking of the Jets, they already had one of the NFL's worst offenses with Zach Wilson at the helm. Now they're without Wilson, which is a situation that helped them get blown out 54-13 last week. The Cincinnati Bengals just upset the Baltimore Ravens, but it's still not often we're going to see them favored by a double-digit spread. There won't be many exciting spots to pick the Bengals in the near future, so picking them could allow you to save a team like the Rams or Bills.
