Bengals News: Tee Higgins Gives Injury Update on Joe Burrow

Joe Burrow was as good as advertised in his rookie season. He looked the part of a franchise quarterback and developed a real connection with promising rookie wideout Tee Higgins. Unfortunately, Burrow's season was cut short due to a devastating knee injury.
It sounds like Burrow is progressing toward a return to full strength, though. Check out what Higgins had to say about his quarterback during an appearance on Good Morning Football.
.@Bengals WR Tee Higgins on @gmfb @nflnetwork on QB Joe Burrow: "He's just locked in and focused. He's about 85 percent. This guy is an unbelievable quarterback. Can't wait to see him come back."

Joe Burrow Injury Update
He's just locked in and focused. He's about 85 percent. This guy is an unbelievable quarterback. Can't wait to see him come back.
- Tee Higgins
It's just an educated guess, but Higgins' confidence in Burrow speaks volumes. It's still June, so if Burrow has already progressed this much, it's not unrealistic to expect him back at full strength by September.
Prior to the injury, Burrow was averaging 276.1 passing yards per game with 12 touchdowns to 5 interceptions through 9 appearances.
If he looks as good as Higgins says he does, Burrow should be a legit candidate for the 2021 Comeback Player of the Year award.
