The Miami Heat got off to a strong start in Game 1 of the 2020 NBA Finals, but it didn't last long. The Los Angeles Lakers came roaring back and ended up scoring a 116-98 blowout win.

Things are getting even worse for the Heat heading into Game 2, as Bam Adebayo and Goran Dragic are both doubtful. This has caused a big shift in the betting odds for the game on FanDuel Sportsbook.

On Thursday morning, before the injury news, the Lakers were already heavy 7.5-point favorites in Game 2. The Heat were +265 underdogs on the moneyline, while the Lakers were -330 to go up 2-0 in the series.

Now the spread sits at 9.5 points, with the Miami moneyline up to +340 and the L.A. moneyline down to -430.

That line movement represents a shift from a 76.7% implied probability of a Lakers win to an 81.1% probability.

It's hard to overstate how much of an impact Adebayo has made in this postseason. The Heat have an offensive rating of 124 and a defensive rating of 107 in the 574 playoff minutes Bam has played. That's the highest offensive rating and second-lowest defensive rating on the team for the playoffs.

For Heat fans, or really any basketball fans hoping for a competitive series, these injuries are seriously bad news.
