Alvin Kamara Status Gives Latavius Murray Fantasy Outlook Huge Boost for Week 8 Against Cardinals

While the return of Drew Brees gives New Orleans Saints fans plenty to be excited about in Week 8's matchup with the Arizona Cardinals, they are once again expected to be without star running back Alvin Kamara.
This is, of course, a significant blow for fantasy football players counting on Kamara, but it is a huge boon for Latavius Murray's Week 8 fantasy value.
Saints’ RB Alvin Kamara, listed as questionable for Sunday vs the Cardinals due to an ankle injury, will not play, per source. But Kamara is expected back after New Orleans’ bye week next week, when the team hosts Atlanta on Nov. 10, per sources.

Latavius Murray Fantasy Outlook Week 8
Murray was a true workhorse when Kamara sat out in Week 7. He exploded for 119 yards and two touchdowns on 27 carries, adding another 31 yards on five receptions (six targets). Those 33 opportunities were the most for any RB last week.
He's in a sweet spot to keep rolling this week. The Saints are favored by 12.5 points, according to FanDuel Sportsbook, suggesting the potential for a seriously run-heavy game flow despite getting their Hall of Fame QB back.
The defensive matchup is also a juicy one, as the Cardinals allow the NFL's fourth-most yards and fourth-most points per game (PPG) to opponents.
