Adam Thielen will reportedly miss his fourth straight game in Week 14, as the Minnesota Vikings wide receiver continues to recover from a hamstring injury. While the injury has lingered for quite some time now, there is optimism that the issue will not keep Thielen out much longer.

By sitting Sunday against the Detroit Lions, Thielen will have missed five of his last six games, in what has been quite the disappointing year for the All-Pro wide receiver. Thielen has just 27 catches (41 targets) for 391 yards this season, but he has scored six touchdowns. He is coming off a career year in which he caught 113 balls for 1,373 yards and nine touchdowns.

In Thielen's absence, it has been veteran tight end Kyle Rudolph who has benefitted the most, catching four touchdowns in the past three games.

Awaiting Thielen in his possible return game is a road matchup with the Los Angeles Chargers in Week 15. While the Chargers have been stingy against wide receivers, Thielen should avoid Casey Hayward's shadow coverage on the outside, which could be reserved for perimeter receiver Stefon Diggs.

After the Chargers, Thielen gets a home date with the Green Bay Packers during fantasy football's championship week, in what could be a potential shootout indoors.
