Whether or not quarterback Aaron Rodgers will be donning the green and yellow at Lambeau Field next season remains to be seen. NFL insider Adam Schefter did provide an update that the Green Bay Packers have not taken part in any kind of trade talks with other teams regarding their star QB, though.
Aaron Rodgers Trade Rumors
Of course, this doesn't mean that the Packers are not open to trading the reigning NFL MVP if he decides he wants out. It's more of a waiting game right now. Green Bay will keep standing by to hear Rodgers' decision before moving on from there.
In the scenario that Rodgers informs the franchise that he would like to be dealt, there would surely be a number of interested suitors. The 10-time Pro Bowler has thrown for 55,360 yards and 449 touchdowns in his career. Rodgers also owns an impressive record of 139-66-1 as a starter.
Rodgers has led the Packers to a 13-3 record in each of the last three seasons, yet the team failed to make it to the Super Bowl every time. The relationship between the 38-year-old and the organization began to sour when quarterback Jordan Love was selected in the first round of the 2020 NFL Draft.
Green Bay fans will just have to stay patient. Things can change at any minute as updates are seemingly released on a daily basis. For now, the Packers head into the offseason as a true contender and have the third-best odds to win Super Bowl 57 at +950, according to FanDuel Sportsbook.
