Adalberto Mondesi Injury Update is Terrible News for Royals

Kansas City Royals shortstop Adalberto Mondesi has been plagued by the injury bug this season. He finally appeared to turn the corner, as he started a rehab assignment with Triple-A Omaha at the start of August.
However, Mondesi's current oblique injury seems to be causing him problems again.

Adalberto Mondesi Injury Update
The 26-year-old went 0-for-13 over his first five games at Triple-A as he shakes off the rust. But, Mondesi has been out of the lineup since Tuesday, and his oblique is the culprit. He's now heading back to KC to be evaluated after dealing with oblique tightness.
Mondesi's setback is just another thing to go wrong for the Royals this season. He's appeared in 10 games, recording 4 home runs and 9 RBI across 36 at-bats.
Kansas City will continue to toil away without their standout shortstop in the lineup. The Royals own the third-worst record in the AL at 49-66.
