Baltimore Ravens running back Kenneth Dixon had himself a productive day on the ground in Week 14, rushing for 59 yards on eight carries while adding a touchdown. Head coach John Harbaugh came out and said that his role will grow going forward following that performance.

While the news is certainly promising, the Ravens' backfield has always been one of the most unpredictable to gauge. It doesn't help matters that Gus Edwards is still firmly in the mix, but Dixon has run the ball effectively all year, averaging 4.8 yards per carry.

The beneficial part of having pieces in the Ravens' rushing attack is they are running the ball a ton. In fact, they average 46 carries per game since Lamar Jackson took over as the starting quarterback -- by far, most in the NFL.

At this point, Dixon is better served as a handcuff to stash away for Edwards' owners. But it is worth noting the Ravens are taking on a Tampa Bay Buccaneers team that had their playoff dreams officially clipped in Week 14. It is possible that Dixon can still be fantasy relevant for those who are absolutely desperate for a running back fill-in at this point.
