The Chicago Bears have one of the most perfect running back pairings in the NFL at the moment. While the stats don't exactly back that up, having a big bruising back in Jordan Howard and small speedy back in Tarik Cohen is the perfect way to build your backfield.

However, for fantasy owners, there aren't enough points to go around in the Bears offense as a whole, which means they have to choose which running back to place in their lineups. So between Howard and Cohen, who should you play in Week 7?

Let's start by looking at their overall stats:

Howard: 78 rushes, 272 yards, 1 touchdown, 10 receptions, 78 yards

Cohen: 32 rushes, 170 yards, 1 touchdown, 21 receptions, 259 yards, 1 touchdown

So it's clear for the numbers that Howard is the main rushing back and Cohen is the pass-catching back, but despite that, Cohen is still more efficient than Howard rushing the ball. Howard is averaging 3.5 yards per carry to Cohen's 5.3. To further push it towards Cohen, despite Howard having more touches, Cohen has more total fantasy points with 43.8 to Howard's 39.1.

Here's their weekly fantasy points through five games:

Howard: 13.2, 8.3, 15.1, 2.5, 4.9

Cohen: 5.6, 3.0, 8.3, 26.9, 19.6

So Cohen has come on strong as of late, while Howard has become close to non-existent. Also if we compare highs and lows, Cohen's highs have been much greater than Howard's and even when he's not as effective he's still more effective than Howard is right now. So at the moment, every single sign is pointing towards starting Tarik Cohen and hoping for some more breakout games.

I'd rather have Tarik Cohen in my lineup.
