The Miami Dolphins defeated the Chicago Bears 31-28 yesterday in overtime and, no, Dan Marino wasn't at the helm. Somehow, some way, it was Brock Osweiler -- after Ryan Tannehill was ruled out with a shoulder injury.

So, now that the Dolphins have a decision to make -- will they go with Osweiler or Tannehill next week against the Lions?

It's an interesting dilemma for the Dolphins, who now sit at 4-2 and in a tie for first place with the New England Patriots. These are two quarterbacks that have thrived under the guidance of head coach Adam Gase, albeit while not being asked to do a lot prior to Osweiler's performance yesterday.

It was Brocktober as the QB threw for 380 yards and three touchdowns, but it is worth noting that he did it with 10 extra minutes of football. Although Osweiler looked like the second coming of Marino yesterday, we all know that he's more than likely to be closer to the Dolphins' version of Jay Cutler.

Tannehill was putting up some pretty big numbers through five weeks as a starter, racking up 972 yards and eight TDs. But he also threw five interceptions in those five games. With the Dolphins listing Tannehill as day to day, it looks as if Osweiler could be the starting quarterback once again in Week 7 against the Detroit Lions.

Once he's cleared though, Tannehill will likely be the starter and is the better QB option moving forward.
