Philadelphia Eagles running back Jay Ajayi tore his ACL during a Week 5 loss to the Minnesota Vikings and he's out for the season. He finishes with 45 carries for 184 rushing yards and three touchdowns.

The news is especially unfortunate for Ajayi, who is heading into free agency after this season. For a guy that's had major knee issues in the past, you have to wonder how much interest there will be on the market for a back like Ajayi.

I'd expect Corey Clement and Wendell Smallwood to get most of Ajayi's now available touches, but it's anyone's guess who the more valuable player will be on a game-to-game basis.

This sets up an interesting scenario for the Eagles, as they could certainly entrench themselves firmly in the Le'Veon Bell sweepstakes. The defending Super Bowl champions could definitely use him after sliding to an unexpected 2-3 start to the 2018-19 season.
