The San Francisco 49ers were mere minutes away from their second Super Bowl appearance in the last three years before it all came crashing down. The team heads into the offseason with some tough decisions to make, but the fan base is going to love seeing their odds to win it all next year.

49ers Super Bowl Odds

The 49ers are tied for the fifth best odds to take home the Lombardi Trophy next season at +1500, according to FanDuel Sportsbook. They only trail two other NFC conference teams, one of which is the Los Angeles Rams. It's safe to say the battle in the NFC West is going to be worth watching.

There is a lot to like about the 49ers roster next season. Wide receiver/running back Deebo Samuel heads an explosive offense that averaged 6.0 yards per play in 2021 (T-No. 2 in NFL). Meanwhile, defensive end Nick Bosa will look to build off his Pro Bowl season after posting 15.5 sacks (No. 4).

However, there is one major issue to solve here. It seems inevitable that veteran quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo is not going to be in San Francisco come Week 1. The 49ers' idea of putting all their eggs in second-year pro Trey Lance's basket is certainly a decision that could make or break their season.

When it comes down to it, head coach Kyle Shanahan has proven that he knows how to get the best out of his players. This is a team that loses very little talent due to free agency and is set to play in an NFC conference that looks to be up for grabs. Don't sleep on the boys from the west coast.
