After kicking the season off with a win, the Kansas City Chiefs face the division rival Los Angeles Chargers in Week 2. Despite being on the road, the Chiefs are heavy favorites to win.

It would be shocking to see the Chiefs lose this game, with how good they looked in Week 1. However, this divisional matchup could bring some surprises. With that in mind, here are three bold predictions for the Chiefs against the Chargers.

3. Chiefs Sack Tyrod Taylor Five Times

The Chiefs pass rush looked terrific in Week 1, sacking Deshaun Watson four times while totaling eight quarterback hits overall. Tyrod Taylor was sacked twice in his Week 1 game. With Tyrod running the ball a bit for LA (six carries in Week 1), this opens up the opportunity for more sacks, as any tackles for loss on him will be counted as sacks.

2. Clyde Edwards-Helaire Runs for 100 Yards in Back-to-Back Games

Rookie running back Clyde Edwards-Helaire impressed in his NFL debut, picking up 138 yards on the ground. With the multiple dangerous weapons defenses are forced to attend to in Kansas City, CEH should face a number of favorable matchups. Going up against a Chargers defense that allowed 4.4 yards per carry against a weaker Cincinnati Bengals team last week, the rookie runner should be able to find success early on. The Chiefs are also heavy favorites, which means they could lean on the run late in the game.

1. Chiefs Run Way More Than Pass

This goes along with the previous prediction. If CEH is having success on the ground, Andy Reid will continue to feed him the ball. He will do the same if the Chiefs find themselves with a nice lead, which the odds predict they will. On top of that, this Chargers pass defense is dangerous. They have both Casey Hayward and Chris Harris Jr. at corner, while having Joey Bosa and Melvin Ingram come after the quarterback. Reid would rather not risk disaster, instead opting to run a bit more than usual. In Week 1, they ran the ball 34 times, compared to 32 passes.
