U.S. Open Picks & Predictions

I rode with Rory McIlroy here last week and he delivered a win, so I'm going with him to continue his impressive hot streak in Massachusetts this week. McIlroy has now placed in the top-20 in five consecutive events. He's been top-10 in four of those five, top-five in three of those five and has a win as well. McIlroy even made sure to throw some shade at LIV backer Greg Norman following his win (surpassing Norman's 20 career PGA Tour wins), along with the current players participating in that tour. This week, those LIV guys will be back teeing it up alongside the PGA Tour guys since the USGA has allowed their participation in this event, which, by their admission and tradition is an open event. I'm expecting McIlroy to channel his inner Michael Jordan and take it personally. When you combine probably the most talented player in the world with him playing some of his best golf and a tournament he's ready to "take it personally", I love those odds. Even if Rory doesn't win, I have him making a major push to be right there.

Bet Rory McIlroy to finish top-five (+210).
