2022 NBA Rising Stars Tournament Odds Favor Team Isiah Thomas Over Rick Barry, Gary Payton and James Worthy

NBA All-Star Weekend 2022 will feature a few changes to the marquee events, including the Rising Stars Challenge. It's now officially the Rising Stars Tournament, the format is moving from two teams to four, and it'll feature players from the G League Ignite team in addition to rookies and sophomores.

These squads have been drafted by NBA legends Isiah Thomas, Rick Barry, Gary Payton and James Worthy. It's Thomas' team that enters this event as favorites, owning +260 odds on FanDuel Sportsbook to win.

Team Isiah features 2020 No. 1 overall pick Anthony Edwards, along with Tyrese Haliburton, Isaiah Stewart, Saddiq Bey, Desmond Bane, Precious Achiuwa and Jaden Hardy of the G League.

They're followed by Team Barry (+260), who will see Cade Cunningham and current Rookie of the Year frontrunner Evan Mobley suit up, among others.

Team Payton (+300), led by LaMelo Ball, comes in third in the odds, with Team Worthy (+350) fourth.

Each of these four teams will play in an opening game and against one of the other three squads. The two winners of those contests will then play in the championship.
