2022 Kentucky Oaks Contenders and Odds Announced

The sister race of the famous Kentucky Derby, the 2022 Kentucky Oaks is upon us. This year will mark the 148th running of the Kentucky Oaks, equaling the Derby.

2022 Kentucky Oaks Field

Like the Derby, the Oaks will also be run at Churchill Downs, in Louisville Kentucky, but it will take place on Friday, May 6. The filly equivalent of the Derby, the Longines Kentucky Oaks will be headlined undefeated fillies Kathleen O. and Echo Zulu.

With a $1.25 million purse, this race is no small potatoes. It's a 1 1/8 mile race, also equivalent to the Derby.
