The 2021 Tokyo Olympic Games are set to begin on Friday, July 23 and sports fans will be able to put in wagers on a number of different events on FanDuel Sportsbook.

The coxed eight women's rowing race was first introduced to the Summer Olympic Games back in 1976. Since then it has consistently been one of the more popular water-based events every four years.

New Zealand is the favorite to win the women's rowing coxed eight gold medal in Tokyo at +135 odds, according to FanDuel Sportsbook. Accomplishing this would be a major feat considering how New Zealand has never medalled in the sport at past Olympics.

Team USA has the second-best odds to win the gold medal at +210. This may come as a surprise to some since the Americans have won each of the past three gold medals in women's eights.

Here's how the rest of the women's rowing coxed eight odds are shaping up.
