The Philadelphia Eagles have been lacking in receiving options in recent weeks, but will hopefully have their Pro Bowl tight end Zach Ertz for a crucial Week 13 road matchup with the Miami Dolphins.

Ertz popped up on the injury report on Wednesday with a hamstring injury, missing practice, but returned in limited fashion on Friday. While the injury came out of nowhere, following the team's disappointing Week 12 home loss to the Seattle Seahawks, there is optimism Ertz will be able to suit up against the Dolphins. It was also reported that Ertz actually played through the injury in Week 12 against Seattle.

In Week 13, the Eagles face a hapless Dolphins team that gives up the 15th-most fantasy points to tight ends. While the Eagles should have success in every way they attack the Miami defense, Ertz is one of their few reliable options in the passing game, along with fellow tight end Dallas Goedert and wide receiver Alshon Jeffery, who is set to return after missing two weeks with an ankle injury.

With the Eagles promoting TE Josh Perkins from the practice squad, they are at least preparing for a scenario where Ertz is not available on Sunday. He is currently the second ranked TE in our Week 13 PPR rankings, while his teammate Goedert is ranked 10th at the position.
