White Sox Being Disrespected by ESPN MLB Power Rankings

The Chicago White Sox are on fire. After opening the year with an underwhelming 10-11 record, they went on to rip off seven straight wins before having the streak snapped on Sunday, bringing them to a 17-12 record.
Even with that win streak, they're still not getting the respect they deserve in ESPN's latest MLB power rankings, checking in at 11th.

The Sox moved up just one single spot in the power rankings from where they were last week, apparently having very little weight given to that win streak.
Admittedly, four of the wins were against the lowly Detroit Tigers, and it's fair to not want to overreact to those games. But this weekend they won two of three against the Chicago Cubs, outscoring their cross-town rivals by a combined 11 runs in those three games. Those same Cubs rank No. 6 in the power rankings, so one would think that series would deserve to carry a bit more weight.
The White Sox's offense is looking like one of the best in baseball, sitting tied (with the Los Angeles Dodgers) for third in the majors with a 120 wRC+ and having blasted 55 home runs through 29 games.
If the White Sox can keep this up, sooner or later they're going to start getting the respect they deserve.
