Fantasy Football Playoffs Advice
If you need some help with your fantasy lineups, here's some start 'em, sit 'em advice for this Week 17 showdown.
Jaylen Waddle Fantasy
Start Jaylen Waddle, WR, Miami Dolphins: How many wide receivers have been hotter than Jaylen Waddle as of late? Not many. The former Alabama product has averaged 11 targets over his last three games for 28 receptions, 319 yards and two touchdowns. That works out to 14.6 PPR points per game, which is the sixth-best average in that stretch. With the Titans giving up over 300 passing yards to the San Francisco 49ers last week, it could be another busy day for Waddle. After all, Miami needs him to keep its playoff hopes alive.
AJ Brown Fantasy
Start A.J. Brown, WR, Tennessee Titans: Third-year wideout A.J. Brown made his return off of the injured reserve in style last week, finishing as WR3 with 20.5 PPR points. While the Dolphins have allowed fewer than 200 receiving yards in their last four games, they haven't faced a wide receiver of Brown's caliber in a long time. Considering how Ryan Tannehill targeted him a whopping 16 times in Week 16, it's pretty safe to say that the 24-year-old will be Tennessee's offensive focal point once again.
Myles Gaskin Fantasy
Sit Myles Gaskin, RB, Miami Dolphins: Myles Gaskin has become a fantasy afterthought this season. Despite having 19.2 PPR points two weeks ago, he's become the No. 3 RB on Miami's depth chart. Even if he was still the starter, the Titans have given up the second-fewest points to running backs this season. There are better and more trustworthy options out there other than Gaskin.
D'Onta Foreman Fantasy
Sit D'Onta Foreman, RB, Tennessee Titans: A few weeks ago, it was looking like D'Onta Foreman would be Tennessee's starting RB until Derrick Henry's eventual return. Instead, he finds himself on a committee with Dontrell Hillard and Jeremy McNichols. That setup resulted in just 7.7 fantasy points for Foreman last week, with him being out-snapped by McNichols (34% vs 42%). Miami's defense has also been a top-five unit against the run this season, making it an unfavorable matchup for anyone in this committee.
