Week 13 Fantasy Picks: Start 'Em, Sit 'Em for Giants vs Seahawks

Two teams sitting atop their divisions meet head to head in Week 13 as the New York Giants (4-7) go on the road to take on the Seattle Seahawks (8-3). This game is full of fantasy football stars and the Seahawks go into this one as 10-point favorites, according to FanDuel Sportsbook's NFL betting odds.
If you need help with your fantasy football lineups, here's some start 'em, sit 'em advice for the Week 13 Giants-Seahawks showdown.
Sterling Shepard Fantasy
Start Sterling Shepard, Wr, New York Giants: Sterling Shepard has become the go-to receiver in the Giants' passing attack as he has seen at least 8 targets in four of the past five games. Everyone knows about the struggles the Seahawks' defense has had defending the pass this season. That also means they have had an inability to stop opposing wide receivers as they have given up the most yards to the position in the NFL (2,643) as well as 13 touchdowns (T-No. 24 in the NFL). The Giants are expected to play from behind for most of this game, which would only help Shepard rack up catches and yards. He is a must start across all fantasy football formats this week.
Chris Carson Fantasy
Start Chris Carson, RB, Seattle Seahawks: Week 12 was the much anticipated return of starting running back Chris Carson and he ended up rushing for 41 yards on 8 carries to go along with a touchdown. He only played in 37% of the offensive snaps, but he should get more work going forward as he gets back in rhythm. The Giants have been solid against the run, but they have been vulnerable to pass-catching running backs like Carson. They have allowed 556 receiving yards to opposing running backs this season (No. 31 in the NFL). Look for Carson to exploit this matchup and have a productive day. He's worth a start this week.
Darius Slayton Fantasy
Sit Darius Slayton, WR, New York Giants: While Shepard is seeing a lot of targets, the opposite is true for fellow wide receiver Darius Slayton. Slayton has hauled in 6 of 10 targets for just 99 yards over the past three games. In fact, he was shut out last week against the Cincinnati Bengals as he failed to catch either of his 2 targets. If you have other options that you feel confident in, don't feel bad benching Slayton – especially with Daniel Jones potentially on the shelf for Week 13.
David Moore Fantasy
Sit David Moore, WR, Seattle Seahawks: Everyone wants to get a piece of this impressive Seahawks' offense, but starting David Moore is not the way to do that. While Moore did score a touchdown last week, he actually ended up finishing with -6 yards receiving on 3 receptions. He has also failed to reach 20 receiving yards in four of his last five games. His value solely comes from scoring touchdowns, which gives him a low floor and ceiling on a weekly basis. The Giants have only given up 10 touchdowns to opposing wide receivers all season (T-No. 7 in the NFL).
