Week 12 Fantasy Picks: Start 'Em, Sit 'Em for Browns vs Ravens

The Cleveland Browns will travel this weekend to take on the Baltimore Ravens in the NFL's Week 12 Sunday Night Football matchup. FanDuel Sportsbook is currently listing the Ravens as the 3.5-point home favorites.
If you need some help with your fantasy lineups, here's some start 'em, sit 'em advice for this Week 12 showdown.
Jarvis Landry Fantasy
Start Jarvis Landry, WR, Cleveland Browns: Jarvis Landry has been a fantasy disappointment this year, proven by his ranking of WR71 in PPR formats. Yes, he's missed a handful of games due to injury. Fortunately, he has a promising matchup against a Ravens defense giving up 29.5 fantasy points per game (15th) to wideouts. Landry's seen at least eight targets in three of his last five games, which is more than enough value to see him as a WR3 this week with WR2 potential if he can finally find the end zone.
Devonta Freeman Fantasy
Start Devonta Freeman, RB, Baltimore Ravens: If you need proof of how bizarre this fantasy season is, 29-year-old Devonta Freeman has been quite fantasy-relevant lately. He's assumed the role of Baltimore's lead rusher and has been RB13 since Week 9 and has two touchdowns in that span. While the Browns have a good frontline, they're 13th for points allowed to RBs. Considering how Cleveland only put up 13 points against the Detroit Lions last week, there's a good chance that Baltimore leads for most of the game. If that's the case, it could be another solid outing for Freeman.
Baker Mayfield Fantasy
Sit Baker Mayfield, QB, Cleveland Browns: A plethora of injuries have held Baker Mayfield to just 13.66 fantasy points per game this season. That ranks 29th out of all quarterbacks who've played at least four games this season. While a date with the Ravens (ninth-most points to QBs) looks promising on paper, it's just too tough to trust Mayfield. He's completed just 52% of his passes over the last two weeks for 249 yards, two touchdowns and three interceptions and a fumble. With Cleveland being one of the top rushing teams and Kareem Hunt returning this week, stay away from Mayfield.
Sammy Watkins Fantasy
Sit Sammy Watkins, WR, Baltimore Ravens: Sammy Watkins started the season as Baltimore's No. 2 WR, however, he's fallen out of favor following the emergence of Rashod Bateman. Before the rookie made his debut, Watkins saw seven targets in four of his first five games. Since returning from injury in Week 10, the veteran has seen a total of seven targets for four receptions, 55 yards and a fumble. With Lamar Jackson returning in Week 12 and the chemistry that he has with Bateman, you can fade Watkins unless you're in a much larger league.
