Week 10 Fantasy Picks: Start 'Em, Sit 'Em for Eagles vs Broncos

The Denver Broncos will look for their fourth straight win in Week 10 when they host the Philadelphia Eagles this weekend. The Broncos are currently the 2.5-point favorites in what's projected to be a close game, according to FanDuel Sportsbook.
If you need some help with your fantasy lineups, here's some start 'em, sit 'em advice for this Week 10 showdown.
Jordan Howard Fantasy
Start Jordan Howard, RB, Philadelphia Eagles: Jordan Howard has reminded football fans of his existence over the last two weeks. With Miles Sanders out, Howard saw 29 rushing attempts for 128 yards and three touchdowns. Not only that, but his snap count increased from 25% in Week 8 to 40% in Week 9. The Broncos may be allowing 98.3 rushing yards per game (6th) this season, however, that number has risen to 124.0 over their last three games. With the Eagles being inside of the top 10 for both rushing attempts (27.7) and yards (136.6) per game, it could be another successful day at the office for Howard.
Melvin Gordon & Javonte Williams Fantasy
Start Melvin Gordon/Javonte Williams, RB, Denver Broncos: The Broncos running backs were quite busy during last week's 30-16 victory over the Dallas Cowboys. Javonte Williams finished with 111 rushing yards on 17 carries while Melvin Gordon saw 23 total touches for 95 yards from scrimmage and a touchdown. Now, they're facing an Eagles defense that's given up the fifth-most points on average to running backs (24.9). Backfield duties have been split 55/45 in favor of Gordon this season, but that hasn't stopped both him and Williams from being fantasy-relevant. That shouldn't change this week against a team like the Eagles.
DeVonta Smith Fantasy
Sit DeVonta Smith, WR, Philadelphia Eagles: DeVonta Smith had the best game of his young career against the Los Angeles Chargers in Week 9, catching five passes for 116 yards and a touchdown. While that may have been the breakout performance that fantasy managers were waiting for, he faces a tough task in Denver. The Broncos have allowed the eighth-fewest passing yards (223.4) and 14th-fewest fantasy points (28.6) on average to wideouts. It also doesn't help that no team has thrown the ball less often over the last three games than the Eagles (22.3). All of the above makes Smith a risky boom-or-bust option this week.
Courtland Sutton Fantasy
Sit Courtland Sutton, WR, Denver Broncos: There was a stretch earlier this season where Courtland Sutton posted a 15-214-2 stat line over a two-game span. Since then, he's been targeted just 11 total times, catching eight balls for 117 yards without a score. He's losing fantasy managers' trust and that trend could continue this week. Despite their overall shortcomings this year, the Eagles are only giving up 23.8 fantasy PPG to wideouts — the fourth-fewest. With the way Tim Patrick and Jerry Jeudy have been playing, it's clear that Sutton has fallen down the Broncos' pecking order.
