Washington's return man was named the NFC's Special Teams Player of the Week after his kickoff score.
Carter averaged a whopping 50.67 yards per return against the Falcons, totaling 152 yards on 3 kickoff returns. His score was his first-ever career touchdown, and it came at the perfect time. Carter's return got Washington back in the game with a 19-17 lead, and the team needed every point it could get in an eventual 34-30 win.
