In just two days, Kirk Cousins and his Minnesota Vikings will open up their playoff schedule with a Wild Card Weekend matchup against the New York Giants. The Vikings finished off a strong 13-4 campaign and will host Sunday's clash at home.
Ahead of ths NFC Wild Card matchup, the Vikings released their final injury report. Three players were listed.
While the list does include three players, they each listed as questionable. That's far better than an official "out" designation. It includes cornerback Cam Dantzler, running back Kene Nwangwu and safety Harrison Smith.
All three are notable names on the roster, although Smith is the most important player on this list. The Vikings starting safety is dealing with a knee issue but has started in all 14 of his appearances, and ranks third on the team with 85 combined tackles.
Nwangwu, although just a third-string running back, heads kick return duties and has been dynamic this season by averaging 26.3 yards per return and 1 touchdown. He is dealing with an "illness."
Meanwhile, Dantzler was listed as questionable because of an ankle issue and personal matter.
For now, the Vikings are considered slim 3-point home favorites per NFL odds on FanDuel Sportsbook.
