VIDEO: Remembering When Patriots RG Dan Connolly Returned a Kickoff for 71 Yards Against Packers

The "big man touchdown" is one of the most universally beloved plays in football. It's rare, but it really never ceases to entertain. And while this Dan Connolly kick return wasn't exactly a touchdown, it was an entertaining anomaly that New England Patriots fans will never forget.
Connolly picks up the rock at about the 25-yard line and somehow knifes his way through the teeth of the Green Bay special teams unit. From there, it's a foot race to the edge – one that Connolly surprisingly wins. He then makes another couple defenders miss before finally being brought down at about the 5-yard line.
The Patriots would go on to punch in a touchdown on this drive and ultimately win the game, 31-27.
