Sometimes it's simply too hard to contain yourself after watching a penalty flag hit the ground following what you think to be a bad call by the referees.

Well, as a fan, just imagine how the player being accused of that same bad call feels when this happens. Fortunately for us, Marcus Peters did a perfect job of conveying that level of frustration in a play against the New York Jets back in 2017.

That's right, Peters found this penalty flag so eggregious that he literally picked it up off the field and tossed it into the crowd at MetLife Stadium.

That, of course, earned the Kansas City Chiefs yet another piece of yellow laundry on the field for unsportsmanlike conduct. However, if there's any silver lining to this outburst, Peters' toss clearly made that group of young Jets fans' day in a major way.
