You know that endzone touchdown leap that always seems to happen on the last play of every cheesy football movie ever made? Well, it may not have been the last play of the game, but on this famous touchdown by Jerome Simpson, it actually happened.

The Arizona Cardinals defender goes for a big hit on Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver at the goal line, but he never expects a full-on front-flip by Simpson.

The most incredible part is that the wide-out sticks the landing, despite almost being upended in mid-air. Now those are some hops. Whatever cleats Simpson was wearing should have made this play into a commercial.

This isn't really something you can go about practicing ahead of time, which means Simpson did this acrobatic wonder on the fly. That takes some guts, and some heart, but it also makes for a legendary NFL highlight.
