NFL players always talk about the excitement leading up to a game against a former team. It's never just another game, especially if the player didn't leave the previous franchise on the best terms.
We've seen this time and time again throughout NFL history, but one unlikely time where a player was able to shine against his former team was offensive tackle Donald Penn against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Donald Penn TD Catch Against the Bucs (4:03 Mark in Video Below)
This type of play action bootleg has become more and more common around the league in recent years, but Penn was one of the unlikeliest candidates. The long-tenured NFL tackle was never known for his hands, nor his speed, but maybe that little bit of extra intensity was all he needed to secure this touchdown catch for the Oakland Raiders.
Derek Carr certainly knows where he's going with the ball, so the play must have been designed for Penn specifically, and what a way to get back at your old squad.
In the end, the Raiders get a game-tying score, capping a nice drive. Penn gets something far more satisfying though, revenge.
