Attending a professional baseball game does come with a certain amount of risk, especially if you're sitting close to the field. With foul balls flying into the stands dozens of times every game, and even the occasional bat, every fan has to keep their head on a swivel for their own safety.
Most of the time when a parent brings their child to the game, they have to be on the lookout for both their own safety and that of the child. But in this instance at a San Francisco Giants game, the roles were reversed, and the child was the one protecting the adult.
The reaction time here by the kid is really impressive, and it just goes to show that sometimes bringing your glove to a game can actually save someone from immense pain and injury.
