VIDEO: Ozzie Albies Gets Pregame Work in With Ron Washington Ahead of Long-Awaited Return

It's been over three months, but Atlanta Braves second baseman Ozzie Albies is finally ready to return from the injured list.
Albies, who last played on June 13 before going down with a foot injury, was activated from the 60-day IL on Friday. He was spotted working out with Braves third base coach Ron Washington ahead of Friday's game with the Philadelphia Phillies. Check out the video below.

Atlanta Braves News
Albies return couldn't come at a better time, as Atlanta currently trails the New York Mets by just 1.0 game in the NL East with 19 left to play.
A two-time All-Star and former Silver Slugger winner who banged 30 homers last year, Albies has the potential to provide a major spark for the Braves down the stretch. If he's able to quickly shake off any rust and return to his previous form, Albies could end up being the difference in the NL East race.
New York is still favored to win the division on FanDuel Sportsbook's MLB odds at -230, but Atlanta is right behind them at +175. There's still plenty of time left for the Braves to overtake the Mets in the standings, especially if Albies comes up with a few clutch hits the rest of the way.
