NBA teams are finally back at practice, and it still feels kind of weird. When we're thinking about the NBA in July, usually we're talking about free-agent destinations. The sport that's usually gearing up for training camp and practice at this time of year is football.

Well, football is apparently on NBA teams' minds too.

In a fun video shot at a recent practice, Nuggets head coach Mike Malone announces "Somebody tell [Denver Broncos head coach] Vic Fangio, I got his back. If Vic and the Broncos need somebody to help out, I'm ready. I've got an arm," before throwing a dime.

Point guard Jamal Murray showed off some significantly less impressive quarterback play. Throwing to 7-foot-2 Bol Bol, he managed to throw it over his target on both occasions, with Bol hauling in one and dropping the other. Managing to throw it well over the head of a receiver that big is almost impressively inaccurate.

Murray and the Nuggets may not be able to hang on the football field, but they're looking good on the court this season. Their +2500 odds to win the NBA Championship rank seventh in the NBA on FanDuel Sportsbook.
