The 2020 MLB season has been a strange one. Not just because of the shortened regular season and expanded playoffs, but because games played in front of cardboard cutouts still just don't feel natural.

One hilarious benefit, however, is that the quiet, empty stadiums mean the TV microphones can pick up just about anything the players say — swearing included.

Whatever your favorite swear word, it's probably in that video. And perhaps funnier than the players swearing is the constant apologizing and cringing from the announcers, who aren't used to having to deal with such audible outbursts from the players.

Whatever the MLB does for the 2021 season, hopefully field-level mics keep bringing us more gold like this.
