Detroit Lions fans were likely disappointed with how their 2019 season went, especially after Matthew Stafford went down with an injury. They've put together a strong offseason though, and that has included a promising draft class, headlined by former Georgia running back D'Andre Swift.

Swift has been a monster at every level, including playing high school football at Saint Joseph's Preparatory School in Philadelphia.

Swift had an outrageous senior season, rushing for 1,564 yards (10.5 per carry!) and scoring 25 touchdowns on 149 rushes. It's no surprise that he drew attention from some of the nation's top programs before committing to Georgia.

He then continued to dominate for the Bulldogs, tallying 3,551 yards from scrimmage and 25 touchdowns on 513 touches across his three seasons. He also earned First-Team All-SEC honors in 2019, after finishing Second-Team All-SEC in 2018.

Lions fans have to be excited about the future of their offense with Swift in the backfield, as the dual-threat was regarded by many as the top running back prospect in the 2020 NFL Draft.
