VIDEO: Clint Frazier Hits Braves Base Runner in Face With No-Look Laser Throw
By Larry Rupp

It isn't often you see a web gem followed by an unfortunate ending, but that is exactly what happened in a game between the Atlanta Braves and New York Yankees yesterday. Yankees' outfielder Clint Frazier made an incredible diving catch, but his throw to first base didn't have quite the same result.

When Frazier dove, his hat fell in front of his eyes and he ended up making a no-look laser throw that hit the Braves base runner right in the jaw off the hop. Atlanta third baseman Austin Riley ended up staying in the game and was even seen laughing off the whole situation afterward.
The unfortunate smack did stop Riley from tagging up to second base, though. Frazier's defense seems to be improving, but he has to better on the offensive side, hitting just .175 this season. However, that can be said for pretty much the entire Yankees roster.
While this play got the Yankees fans on their feet and excited, it was just about all the team had going for them. They ended up losing the game by a score of 4-1. The Yankees (6-11) will look to bounce back in a four-game series against the Cleveland Indians this weekend.
