VIDEO: Cam Newton High School Football Highlights From 2005 Are an Amazing Throwback

Cam Newton's NFL run has been a wild one. He went from the No. 1 overall pick to NFL MVP, the eventually to struggling to find a new team as a free agent and finally to now being the face of the New England Patriots for the 2020 season.
His health raised some definite concerns this offseason, but there's no doubting just how good an athlete Cam is when he's healthy. That has clearly been the case for a long time, as you can see in this amazing highlight video form his junior year at Westlake High School in Atlanta.
As a junior, Cam threw for 2,500 yards and 23 touchdowns while adding 638 yards and 9 touchdowns on the ground. He firmly established himself as a star before earning himself a 5-star prospect rating from Rivals in his senior season.
A dominant high school player, Heisman Trophy winner and NFL MVP, Cam has really proven himself at all three levels of football. The next obstacle to climb will be proving that he still has something left in the tank, maybe even winning the NFL Comeback Player of the Year award.
