U.S. Open Women's Tennis Odds Following Wimbledon Favor Serena Williams

After Simona Halep defeated Serena Williams in the Wimbledon Final on Saturday, it's time to take a look ahead at the betting market for tennis' final major of the year, the U.S. Open.
Despite Serena's loss, she opens up as a clear favorite to win the U.S. Open at +300 over Naomi Osaka (+650). Halep, who just beat Serena in the Wimbledon Final, has the fifth-best odds at +1000, according to FanDuel Sportsbook.

Serena continues to be consistently near the top of the betting odds, despite not winning a major since the 2017 Australian Open.
Osaka, on the other hand, won the 2018 U.S. Open, also defeating Serena Williams in the final. She then followed up that performance by winning the next major, the 2019 Australian Open.
