Following their embarrassing 40-17 loss to the New York Jets in Week 5, Miami Dolphins head coach Mike McDaniel claimed that Tyreek Hill and other team captains decided to remove the ping pong table from the team's locker room because it was seen as a distraction.

The Dolphins enter Week 6 on a two-game losing streak after starting the year 3-0. However, the removal of the ping pong table may have been a bluff by Hill the entire time. On Thursday, he announced to reporters that not only would the table be returning to the locker room, but it would also be getting a major upgrade.

Hill said he ordered a brand new custom table that will meet his apparently high standards.

Hill made sure to let everyone know the game has no bearing on the team's ability to prepare and is just a way to pass the time. This is quite the contrary stance to what his own head coach claimed Hill's feelings were just a couple of days ago.

There is no telling what, if any, effect this new and improved table will have on the team's morale or performance. One thing we do know, though, is that it will be up to Hill's standards.

The Dolphins will try to bounce back at home against the Minnesota Vikings in Week 6. Miami is listed as a 3.5-point underdog on FanDuel Sportsbook's NFL odds.
